JERSEY WANDERERS PROVIDES THE FOLLOWING UPDATE IN REGARDS TO THE FUTURE SPONSORSHIP OF OUR FOOTBALL CLUB.

After 10 years as Jersey Wanderers FC (JWFC) main Club sponsor, it is confirmed that JTC will step down from this role at the end of the 22/23 Season. We would like to thank JTC for the mutually rewarding relationship that we have enjoyed over the years.

Nigel Le Quesne, CEO of JTC and outgoing Chairman of JWFC, added:

“After a really enjoyable decade of support, both from JTC and me personally, the time is now right for the Club to find a fresh sponsor. A lot has happened in that decade since I, and then JTC, entered into what became an immersive relationship. Both the landscape of local football and our business have changed significantly in that time, but we have been delighted to have shared the journey and played a role in securing the long-term future of the Club.

We leave on great terms, with JWFC in a strong position and in the very capable hands of Mark Woodford, who is both a stalwart of the Club and a colleague at JTC. Mark works alongside a number of long standing volunteers who continue to give tirelessly to the running of Wanderers football Club, and we look forward to seeing them go from strength to strength in the future.”

JWFC stands as a Club with a rich 128 year history, proudly establishing itself as one of the largest and most diverse football offerings in Jersey. We currently host over 350 players across 23 teams and support 62 coaches and volunteers who enable the great football at our Club to happen.

In 2022, we achieved FA England Football Accreditation, positively changing the landscape by raising the standards in grassroots football. We pride ourselves in promoting and advocating for greater diversity and inclusivity in the football community and are thankful to be recognised for our hard work in making this a reality.
